Place - While in Connaught Place you should not miss visiting the
Palika Bazaar, an air-conditioned subterranean shopping complex covering
three levels. The place houses hundreds of shops and kiosks selling a
variety of goods, from imported electronics, licenced and pirated
VCD/DVDs, music systems, cameras, clothing and footwear and what have
you. Bargaining here is the name of the game, but you do need a
discerning eye to distinguish between a genuine and fake item. If you
have the savvy, you can often come out with a good buy. Of course, to
cater to the thousands of visitors, there are many food outlets too. In
fact, for many Palika Bazaar is more of an entertainment centre where
you come to spend your leisure hours.
