Legend Of Kabir Das Jayanti
It is mentioned in the ancient religious documents that once Kabir Das discovered that people in India are filled up with many superstitious things. One of them he found that people believed that the person who died in Varanasi will go to heaven and those who died outside it will go to hell. So, he decided to stay in Varanasi throughout his entire life but reached Maghar at the time of his death. After he left his body, he was taken to Maghar. On his arrival, there was an argument right away since Muslims and Hindus both wish to carry out the last rituals differently. After some time, Kabir Das shocked everyone by standing up and requesting them to look below. All the followers were shocked by seeing this incident and when they looked down they saw a lovely collection of flowers. Seeing all these, both Hindus and Muslims compromised and then Hindus took some flowers to Varanasi and Muslims to Meghar. After this incident, both Hindus, Muslims, and Shiks celebrate Kabir Das Jayanti peacefully in their own ways.
