Maharashtra Day 2023

Maharashtra Day is special day for Marathi and people of Maharashtra as on this day, the state was formed in the year 1960. Celebrated on May 1 every year, the state observes a public holiday and large scale celebrations across Mumbai and all other districts are organized. As instructed by the State and Central Government, All Schools, Colleges and offices remain closed on this. This day is also popular as Maharashtra Din among locals, Governor of Maharashtra is invited as Chief Guest for parade and celebration in at Shivaji Park, Dadar (Mumbai).
