Souza Lobo Restaurant - Souza Lobo opened in 1935 on Calangute beach to serve the rich Goans from the cities when they moved to their summer homes on the sea. Today, it is an institution that Goans and aliens swear by. There are tables on the beach itself, and also under a long and narrow roof. Though the ambience is great, the food, from the large and varied menu, is the strongest point. Try the tandoori kingfish, the pork vindaloo or the prawn xacuti.
